Shenley Easter Adventure
Come and discover the story of the first Easter in St Mary's churchyard, with scenes from the dramatic events of Jesus' last week; there'll be colouring sheets to take away, and plenty of chocolate Easter eggs. You can also tie ribbons of hope and new beginning on the cross near the church door.
Open from Palm Sunday (28 March) until Easter Day (4 April) between 9am and 6pm.
Suitable for all ages, entry is free, but donations gratefully received.
Holy Week & Easter Trails
At All Saints', Holy Cross, Servant King & St. Giles', you can experience the journey of Jesus on Good Friday through to Easter Day with Staions of the Cross. Open 24/7 from Palm Sunday (28 March) until Easter Tuesday (6 April).
From Wednesday 7 April until Pentercost (23 May), these will be replaced with Stories of Resurrection where you can read how Jesus appeared to his disciples in the days and weeks following the first Easter.
Ribbons of Hope
We continue to invite you to add ribbons in the designated places in our churchyards, signifying your hopes and prayers, but during the season of Easter we particularly invite you to tie white or gold ribbons as we rejoice and celebrate the exuberant joy and hope of the risen Jesus who showed us the infinite height and depth of God's love through which new beginnings are possible for all.
